PR12 The JetRest Helps our Heroes

Travel Accessories from TheJetRest

With almost 200,000 active personnel across the Navy, RAF and Army, The JetRest® has pledged its support to Help For Heroes so that they return home from duty in comfort!

As official partners to Help For Heroes, The JetRest® has supplied thousands of its travel kits which the charity are donating to the wounded and which have already given many soldiers a more restful journey home.  With most soldiers wanting a clean pair of socks and good night’s sleep as they head back to the UK, each pack contains The JetRest® travel pillow, earplugs and a blackout eye mask to go some way towards creating a  relaxing environment in contrast to where they have just been.

Alana Warwick, Corporate Licensing Coordinator for Help for Heroes added: “The kits are amazing and are a perfect addition to the other items we issue to the forces. The returning wounded are usually vulnerable and emotional and this is just a small way of ensuring they are kept as comfortable as possible until they can be transferred for treatment.”

Keen to raise as much money as possible for Help for Heroes, thejetrest.com has also launched the same officially branded pack for sale on its website with £3 from every sale going straight to the charity.  The packs are available in H4H navy colours or a camouflage option, each fully branded with the official charity label.  The luxury travel kits are £19.95 and are the prefect travel accessory for this summers holiday season and will provide you with your own heroe style comfort on your holidays.  The kits can even be personalised with your name or slogan which makes them great gifts for any discerning traveller.

Founder of The JetRest®, Michael Robinson actually invented and designed the ergonomic travel pillow being used by Help for Heroes and is thrilled that this is now being used to raise awareness and money for a charity close to his heart: “The charity kit has been a big hit with the wounded personnel returning home and it gives me immense pride that we can make a difference to our heroes.  The same kits have now been packaged together on our website and we are confident of raising a significant sum through sales for the charity.”

Help for Heroes is a charity that does exactly what it says on the tin – all donations go directly to supporting the wounded.  For their own web site visit www.helpforheroes.org.uk
