Mozzyoff is a 100% natural mosquito repellent and insect repellent. This gentle mosquito repellent formula will provide up to 6 hours water resistant protection from biting insects and can also soothe the irritation of previous bites.

Meticulously blended from exotic natural plant oils, Mozzyoff mosquito repellent contains no DEET and no Citronella. MozzyOff is kind to your skin and the environment. Mozzyoff mosquito repellent is made from a mixture of pure essential oils and cosmetic grade vegetable oils. These oils are environmentally friendly and will not contribute to pesticide resistance.

All the packaging, including the plastic bottle can be recycled and, where possible, recycled materials are used in the packaging.

Is MozzyOff a Mosquito Repellent Spray ?

No, it is an oil in a dropper bottle. To make MozzyOff mosquito repellent a spray mosquito repellent we would have to add alcohol to the formula which is not a natural substance and we think it is important that MozzyOff remains a 100% Natural Mosquito Repellent.

Can I use MozzyOff mosquito repellent on children ?

We do not recommend using MozzyOff mosquito repellent on children under the age of 6 years old.  The main reason is that mozzyOff contains essential oils that can be too strong for use on young children.

Can I use MozzyOff mosquito repellent while pregnant ?

No. We do not recommend the use of MozzyOff if you are pregnant as the essential oils can be too strong for use while pregnent.

Can I use MozzyOff mosquito repellent with sun cream ?

This depends on whether your sun cream is oil or water based. MozzyOff mosquito repellent is 100% natural oil based and as such will repell water based creams, so MozzyOff has to be applied before the use of sun cream.  If you then choose to apply sun cream then it may or may not rub into your skin but the main point we would like to make is that many sun creams contain perfumes and this can actually attract mosquitos and other such flying insects.  Best to try before use in the sun to ensure your sun cream actually rubs INTO your skin and is not repelled by the oils in MozzyOff.

Why no contronella ?

Citronella used to be used as an insect repellent but was banned for topical use (putting onto the skin) by the EU many years ago.

Why no DEET ?

DEET is a chemical that originated as a plastic softner. Would you put such a chemical on your skin ? We recommend you search for DEET on the internet and read all about it and then you will realise why we have made a formula that is as effective in testing as DEET but has no chemicals in it.

How much MozzyOff mosquito repellent should I take on holiday ?

This depends on many factors though as a guide 2ml will cover your arms once. We suggest taking the 100ml bottle with you on holiday per person per 2 or 3 weeks duration.  We also recommend taking a 15ml bottle with you for the same period as this little bottle is great as a top up bottle to carry with you while out and about and is much smaller to carry than the 100ml bottle. MozzyOff should be re applied at least every 6 hours for maximum effect.

How do I apply MozzyOff mosquito repellent ?

Simply pour a few drops onto the palm of your hand, rub around the palms and then apply to the exposed areas of skin such as hand, arms, legs, neck, face etc. We always recommend applying a small drop to the skin in advance of the main application to test your reaction to the product.

What if MozzyOff causes skin irritation ?

Simply stop using MozzyOff and if you are at all concerned, consult your doctor.

Can I use MozzyOff on my cat, horse or dog or other pet ?

MozzyOff is 100% natural and made entirely from plant oils and contains no chemicals at all. Unfortunately we cannot make any claims whatsoever under the laws about use on animals and MozzyOff is not registered for use on animals - we have to say no to the use officially on animals.

That said, I know for a fact that some people have bought MozzyOff for use for example on horses and they said is was fantastic as a product for animals… the only trouble is it would cost us hundreds of thousands to have it registered officially for use on animals as the testing is meticulous.  If others have successfully used and bought from us, perhaps you can draw your own conclusions from this ?  If you did buy and use at your own risk, like with humans its always worth a small tester first.

Recommended repellent

I used this insect repellent when staying on an island in Malaysia and found it not only effective in keeping the bugs away but also soothing and relieving to apply to bites I did get when I forgot to use the repellent. Its definitely worth a try as much healthier to use than repellents containing deet. This is the only repellent I have tried that has not contained deet but I was very impressed.
