Use Heat Packs and Wheat Bags hot or cold as a natural, drug-free, environmentally friendly pain relief system or just as a winter warmer at home or an alternative to the traditional hot water bottle. Perfect for use on sun burn and sports injuries, muscle pain relief and many other conditions.

We manufacture our wheat bags and heat packs in our own Lancashire factory to the higest standards and each pillow is presented in a range of fabric covers to choose from. Ever popular are our cotton and fleece covers though recent additions include a 100% Organic (British Woven) Cotton in natural colour, sourced from one of the last remaining cotton mills in the county.

PREMIUM UPGRADE

The Premium Upgrade option on the WheatyBag for the Shoulder involves us adding even more wheat and incorporating mid-line stitching within the product itelf.

The additional wheat (+35%) makes makes the premium product hold more heat and also retain the heat for longer periods of time.  The additional mid-line stitching as can be seen on the main product image makes sure that the wheat is held in place when wrapped around the neck, makes sure the heat is better spread about the product itself, and spreads the heat better to the parts that touch the body.

We highly recommend the Premium Upgrade for this product though give you the choice in the selections below.

N.B. Products cannot be upgraded once purchased.

How long should this heat pack be put into the microwave for ?

The length of time the heat pack will take to warm through will vary depending on the power of the microwave so we ask you to be careful when warming the heat pack. Place in the microwave and place on full power, assuming 800w mocrowave for around 60 seconds.  The heat pack should be warmed through and not over heated. Please adjust the length of time and microwave power to suit your own needs and be careful not to overheat the pack.

Is it normal that my heat pack feels damp when microwaving ?

When you first microwave the heat pack, the wheat inside is damp by nature at first but will dry off after a few uses.  Feeling damp is quite normal though take care not to overheat the heat pack to attempt to dry out the product.  It will dry off naturally after a few uses and is quite normal to be damp at first.

Do you offer different colours and fabric choices for this heat pack ?

Yes we do. We make all our heat packs to order in our British factory so if you would like to make a special request, please make contact with us by email and we will provide a cost for you or see the "Bespoke Heat Pack" section for more details.

What happens if I microwave for too long ?

Remove from the microwave as soon as possible, do not use until completely cool and check if there is a burnt smell.  If they have burnt, throw the product away and purchase a replacement.

How do I chill the Wheatybags in the freezer ?

Simply place the Wheatybag into a plastic bag and close up then place in the freezer for a couple of hours.  Remove from the plastic bag before use and stop using the product if it causes any discomfort from the cold created in the freezer.

Can I wash my Wheatybags Heat Pack ?

No. The wheat should not be brought into contact with water. If it is then the product needs to be dried quickly before the wheat inside germinates.  We recommend that you do not use the Wheatybag if this happens.
